They definitely deserve it...they won a league high 13 games in a row and without Greg Oden...that is impressive

Ever since they had "the fight" with the throwing each other around and the chair throwing these guys have realized just how good they can be. While in Portland we realize we have a long way to go, potentially we can be a league power and deserve the accolades that go along with it.

I'm confused. They have won 13 straight games, and that's hard to do, but how does a team go from bad to good like that? That's like a bi-polar person's mood swings! I love you! I hate you! No, wait, what?
They do deserve it but why does every one believe that Oden will become the next Shaq, David Robinson, Wilt, or even Ewing!! Oden is over hyped and overrated as far as I know the best player on that team is Mr. Brandon Roy last year's Rookie Of the Year!!!
I think it's rather generous they got lucky on some of the wins. I don't think that they're a top 5 team in the league they won games against some weak opponents, I think that they'll have a tougher time on the road as well. I see them dropping too the middle of the pack.
